Dear Programmers and Bookers,

I've always had a deep respect for Oscar-winning documentarian Charles Ferguson. His style of filmmaking seems like the perfect antidote to our fractured political landscape.

So when we were pitched a documentary about child labor and trafficking, it was his involvement that made us take notice. But this is giving short shrift to journalist Shraysi Tandon, whose directorial debut is a heartbreaking but essential look at an abhorrent practice...one that we Americans are partially complicit in through the inexpensive products that fill our houses, apartments and lives.

I hope you'll take the time to watch Invisible Hands and consider it for a run or special screening. I'm happy to send a link, and please watch the trailer as well (link below).

Best wishes,

Marc Mauceri
